Furtive Shroud
Arcane Veil of Mystery

A hushed pattern, a well-kept secret, revealed only by inspiring light from within or from without
Furtive Shroud explores the concept of hidden revelation through an innovative combination of procedural pattern generation and 3D printing techniques. A Voronoi tessellation pattern is sandwiched between two featureless surfaces, remaining hidded until illuminated.
Voronoi patterns, found naturally in cell structures, cracked surfaces, and animal markings, divide space into regions based on proximity to scattered points, creating the familiar polygonal cells that define efficient natural organization.
Embedding such a pattern in our object showcases the unique capabilites of 3D printing, demonstrating how complex internal geometries can be designed specifically for light interaction rather than surface visibility.
The result is a study in concealment and disclosure, a form that appears deceptively simple yet harbors intricate geometric secrets within. Like whispered confidences that only emerge in the right light, the hidden Voronoi structure transforms the object from mundane exterior to captivating revelation, embodying the very essence of furtive beauty waiting to be discovered.
