Inner Workings
Igneous Brim is designed using Musgrave and Voronoi noise functions. The former is used to generate a wide range of natural textures, from turbulent clouds to rugged terrains. It can simulate a variety of fractal-like structures, where the texture exhibits self-similarity across different scales. The latter is based on Voronoi tessellation, which divides a space into regions around a set of seed points. Voronoi noise is useful for creating patterns that resemble cells, bubbles, or cracks, making it ideal for simulating the polygonal structures often seen in rocks.
